What materials does Almond use?

Fleece and Poly-Fil stuffing. Other fabrics available on request.

How long will my order take?

For new designs, a mock-up of your new friend will be made in felt, which you can look over and edit to your satisfaction. This will take approximately 1-3 weeks (all pre-exsisting designs, unless alterations are requested, will skip this step). Once you're happy with it, the final fabric will be ordered, and once it arrives it will take about 1-2 weeks of sewing until they are ready for pickup. Shipping times will vary depending on your location, if you choose to have your friend mailed.

Are they washable?

Dry cleaning is preferred, but surface spot cleaning is also okay. Putting your pal in the washing machine may result in damage and we don’t recommend it!

What won't Almond make?

Pillowcases, small (< 18”) dolls, anything using human hair, cats, or dogs.

What's your return policy?

As this is a custom handmade item made to the buyer’s specifications, refunds are not available. If you notice any damage within 1 week of pickup, contact Almond and it can be mended free of charge.

Rarely Asked Questions

What do they like to eat?

A healthy diet of invisible cake and tea keeps most dolls happy! However, your individual doll may have other dietary requirements such as a carnivorous intake of human flesh depending on their species.

Do they have special powers?

With enough moonlight rituals they can telepathically commune with fish and yeast.

What kind of curses can I get imbued into my friend?

Curses to wither your rival’s crops, curses to cause someone's chance of bear encounters to increase by 2.4%, or a curse to shrink a stranger's laundry are all available upon request.

How much TV is too much for them to watch?

Use your best judgment, but don't let them stay up all night - good sleep is important!
